“Present Moments”

November 3, 2025

Dear readers

In my last blog post, I invited you to watch my interview on
The Book Connection Show.

Who saw it? I would love to hear your feedback.

This blog post is inspired by the newsletter from Reid Tracy, CEO of Hay House. The last few newsletters were all titled “Present Moments”! This really appealed to me and reminded me that some time ago I had been thinking about Leo Tolstoy’s three questions, because I always thought that I was standing on the platform at the wrong time when the elevator was Out of Order. How do I know when the right time is to take the train and all the elevators are working?
But Tolstoy says:
“Remember, then, that there is only one important time to be aware of—the present—and it is the most important, because only in the present moment do we have command over ourselves.”
(See my book: Forward—Giving Up is Not an Option, When Is the Right Time? Page 80)

It became clear to me that every elevator with the “Out of Order” sign was a challenge for me to solve at that very moment. That was the reason I was there at that exact moment!
That is why every present moment is absolutely important, because only in that moment can we decide what to do with it.

I would like to share something else with you that moved me deeply. One of the latest newsletters from Hay House had the subtitle: “Appreciate the Small Moments.” I find this statement wonderful, because I always say that the tapestry of life is woven from many small moments.

With this in mind, I wish you, dear reader, all the best and hope you enjoy the small moments of each day!

Warm regards, Eugen
